Your Lake Llanquihue Bike Tour begins in Puerto Varas, approximately 20–30 minutes by road from Puerto Montt Airport.

We recommend flying into Puerto Montt El Tepual Airport (PMC). Upon arrival, you can take a shared airport transfer to Puerto Varas. It is a journey of approximately 20 minutes. The transfer is not included in the tour price and is paid locally.

Once you arrive in Puerto Varas, check in to your hotel and enjoy some time to settle in. Our local representative will meet you in the evening for your welcome meeting, bike fitting/delivery, and tour briefing. During the briefing, you will receive route information, cycling guidance, and emergency contact details for your self-guided journey.

Your cycling adventure concludes in Puerto Varas on Day 6 after breakfast.

If you have not already returned your bicycle and rental equipment on Day 5, you should coordinate the return with the local representative on the morning of Day 6. After breakfast and hotel checkout, the remainder of your time is free to explore Puerto Varas independently.

When you are ready to depart, your hotel can arrange a transfer to Puerto Montt El Tepual Airport (PMC). This transfer is not included in the tour price and is payable locally.

We recommend allowing approximately 20–30 minutes for the road journey, plus adequate time at the airport for check-in, security, and baggage procedures.

Generally, the weather in this area is very similar to Northern California, especially the coast side. Late October and November (springtime in the southern hemisphere) present milder temperatures 10ºC to 25ºC (50°F to 77°F) with some scattered rain (likewise during our Fall, march, and April). During December you can start feeling the beginning of the summer with temperatures around 10ºC to 27ºC (50°F to 81°F). In January and February temperatures range between 15ºC and 35ºC (60°F/95°F). Remember that you are visiting the Lake & Volcano district, so always expect some rain!
