Upon arrival in Milan, we travel by private transfer to the beautiful lakeside town of Bellagio, often called the 'Pearl of Lake Como.' Check into our lakeside retreat offering panoramic views across the lake. Spend the afternoon exploring Bellagio's charming historic centre along Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, lined with boutique shops, inviting cafés, and colourful buildings. Wander through peaceful lakeside promenades before enjoying our first Italian dinner overlooking the sparkling waters of Lake Como as the surrounding mountains glow in the evening light.

Spend the day discovering Bellagio's timeless elegance and breathtaking scenery. We visit the beautiful Villa Melzi Gardens, famous for its lakeside pathways, sculptures, and exotic botanical collections. Continue through Bellagio's flower-filled lanes before reaching Punta Spartivento, where the three branches of Lake Como meet, creating spectacular panoramic views. Later, we stroll to the peaceful fishing hamlet of Pescallo, where colourful boats, quiet waterfront cafés, and traditional stone houses offer a glimpse into the region's authentic lakeside lifestyle.

We enjoy another day immersed in the beauty of Lake Como. We visit the magnificent Villa Serbelloni during a guided tour (subject to availability), exploring its historic gardens and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the lake. Alternatively, we board an optional ferry to the picturesque villages of Varenna and Menaggio, each offering elegant waterfront promenades, charming piazzas, and beautiful lakeside architecture. Return to Bellagio for a leisurely evening enjoying Lombardy's celebrated cuisine accompanied by regional wines while overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Como.

Today, we journey through spectacular Alpine scenery by private transfer and scenic train into Switzerland, arriving in the charming, car-free mountain village of Zermatt. We check into our mountain hotel before exploring the village's traditional wooden chalets, boutique shops, and lively cafés. As evening approaches, admire unforgettable views of the iconic Matterhorn rising dramatically above the surrounding peaks. The peaceful atmosphere, crisp mountain air, and stunning Alpine landscapes create an unforgettable introduction to one of Switzerland's most celebrated destinations.

Today we board the world-famous Gornergrat Railway, climbing high into the Swiss Alps for breathtaking views of the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa, and numerous glaciers stretching across the horizon. Spend time at the summit enjoying panoramic viewpoints before choosing from scenic hiking trails suitable for all abilities. We return to Zermatt during the afternoon and enjoy free time browsing mountain boutiques or relaxing at our hotel's wellness facilities while surrounded by spectacular Alpine scenery.

We enjoy a leisurely day exploring Zermatt at our own pace. Choose an optional excursion aboard the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car, visit local museums celebrating Alpine mountaineering history, or simply relax in one of the village's welcoming cafés while admiring uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn. Those seeking adventure can enjoy additional walking trails through flower-filled meadows, while others may prefer a peaceful afternoon enjoying the exceptional facilities of their luxury mountain hotel.

Today we board one of Switzerland's spectacular scenic trains for the journey to Interlaken, beautifully situated between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel, renowned for its luxury wellness facilities and magnificent mountain views. Spend the afternoon exploring Interlaken's elegant streets, charming parks, and boutique shops while enjoying panoramic views of the famous Jungfrau region that surrounds this beautiful Alpine resort town.

We begin the day with a funicular ride to Harder Kulm, Interlaken's spectacular viewpoint offering panoramic vistas across both lakes and the snow-capped peaks of the Bernese Oberland. Later, we visit the fascinating St. Beatus Caves, where dramatic limestone caverns, underground chambers, and cascading waterfalls overlook the shores of Lake Thun. Return to Interlaken for a relaxing evening, enjoying Swiss cuisine while reflecting on the unforgettable mountain landscapes experienced throughout our journey.

After breakfast, our unforgettable Lake Como and Swiss Alps adventure comes to an end. Depart Interlaken by train to our onward destination and continue exploring Switzerland's magnificent Alpine scenery, charming mountain villages, and world-renowned scenic railways.
