Arrival
The tour begins in Bled, Slovenia, and you can arrive on any day between 9 May and 10 October 2027. The nearest airport is Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, located approximately 90 km from Bled, while Trieste Airport (Italy), Venice Airport (Italy), and Klagenfurt Airport (Austria) are also convenient international gateway options for reaching the start of the tour.
From Ljubljana Airport, private transfers to Bled are available for €90 for 1–3 people or €125 for 4–8 people. Additional private transfer options include Ljubljana City to Bled (€125 / €165), Villach to Bled (€180 / €200), and Klagenfurt Airport to Bled (€210 / €250).
Bled is also accessible by train through the Slovenian Railways network. Travellers can arrive at Lesce-Bled Station or Bled Jezero Station, both of which are connected to Ljubljana and other major Slovenian destinations. From either station, local taxis are available to reach hotels in Bled.
Regular bus services operate between Ljubljana Bus Station and Bled, with frequent departures throughout the day, making it one of the easiest and most economical ways to reach the starting point of the tour.
Taxis are readily available from Ljubljana Airport, Ljubljana city, and nearby train stations. For the most convenient arrival, a pre-bookable private transfer is recommended, especially for travellers carrying luggage.
Departure
The tour ends in Bovec, Slovenia, after breakfast on Day 8. You may depart on the same day or choose to extend your stay in Bovec, which is known as Slovenia’s adventure capital.
Private transfers from Bovec to Ljubljana Airport are available for €230 for 1–3 people or €255 for 4–8 people. Additional departure transfer options include Bovec to Ljubljana City (€250 / €275) and Bovec to Bled (€195 / €220).
Bovec is connected by bus to Ljubljana and other towns in western Slovenia, making it easy to continue your journey by public transport.
There is no train station in Bovec, so travellers wishing to travel by rail should first take a bus or private transfer to Jesenice, Lesce-Bled, or Ljubljana, where onward train connections are available.
Taxis can be arranged locally in Bovec for transfers to nearby bus stations, regional transport hubs, or directly to Ljubljana Airport and other destinations. Private transfers should be booked in advance for the most comfortable and efficient departure.
